Founded in 1982 as a small private company in the United States by a scientist by the name of Samuel Veritas the Veritas Research Company as it was then known quickly grew and received national and government recognition for its work in Force Op Systems and defense contracting. The small private company eventually grew into the Veritas Inc. International Corporation for Research and Design under the leadership of Lucas Veritas , Samuel's son and current CEO of the corporation. In an attempt to expand Veritas' power the company opened a firm in the Gaian continent and then seeing great not harnessed potential Lucas decided to move the previously private Head Quarters from the North Dakota Mountain side to the flourishing city of Durem, Gaia.

The Company is known for its work in several fields of science, from meteorology to subatomic nuclear physics and quantum mechanics. Defense contracts help fund the massive security and defense operations conducted within the company and the several products that come out of it doors. Products that benefit the general Gaian population as well as those for the government and private organizations are available from this massive firm for purchase. Previously not open to the public Veritas Inc. is now a fully public facility, granting to the worlds population the same great service and standards given to the most powerful military forces.

Shady business is nothing new for this company. Previously under investigation for illegal funding and corporate espionage the company has now been released from all investigation and charges. The cause of this release is unknown to this day however many believe the CEO exercised the great influence he has within the higher echelons.
